Remove the oxygen from the fire and it will instantly die. Each kid grabs a pair of headphones, flips open a book, and begins to play. Utah Utes running back Zack Moss 2 escapes the grasp of West Virginia Mountaineers linebacker David Long Jr. Even if your circumstances have been less than favorable in the past, even if you have squandered your own ability to stand up, choose, and take meaningful action in the past, you can decide right now to act differently.

Road to Success is the first step toward making reading fun. Designed specifically to improve the skills kids need to succeed, the program incentivizes elementary school students to read daily. Our goal is to have 90% of Utah children reading at or above grade level. We know that it is only when students, families, schools, and communities work together that our children will discover the power of words and unlock a lifetime of potential. Now is the time to set the foundation for lifelong learning—and it starts with one student at a time. Keys to Success is the first step toward motivating students to aspire to higher education. Designed to improve high school graduation and university enrollment rates, the program shows students what it feels like to succeed. We help high school students set smart goals with teachers and parents, and then give them the tools they need to track their progress. By offering rewards for individual achievement, we enable students to discover the link between hard work and success. Now is the time to instill a strong work ethic in our youth—and it starts with one student at a time. In collaboration with tech leaders, we provide students with the opportunity to access coding training modules, obtain one-on-one mentoring from experts, and take advantage of networking opportunities to pursue internships. Our goal is to bridge the gap between education and industry by getting students interested in programming and setting them up on a successful education pathway in computer science.
